A touch of elegance in black for interiors The new shade of Black Ink gives a minimalistic and powerful air to the Nimbus Group’s Lighting Pad and Rossoacoustic Pad A strong impulse for stylish interiors: the Nimbus Group's light-acoustics solutions are now also available in a deep shade of black: Black Ink. The Lighting Pad Lounge – with its exclusive moulded wood and charming underside made of acoustically effective formfleece in Black Ink – has been greeted with enthusiasm right from the very beginning. This has now led the Stuttgart-based company to offer this deep black version throughout its entire Lighting Pad and Rossoacoustic Pad ranges, reflecting not only their customers’ wishes but also a fondness for this shade within the company. “Those who know us know that we prefer a minimalistic range of colours that complements the clear-cut form of our products,” says lead designer Dietrich F. Brennenstuhl. Whereas the Lighting Pad is an efficient sound absorber with integrated LED lighting, the Rossoacoustic Pad system comprises round and square ceiling and wall absorbers. These innovative products have already been installed in numerous buildings; they are full of character yet also highly adaptable. They can be harmoniously integrated into existing buildings or historical architecture as well as contemporary interiors. Black Ink is particularly appealing in its interplay with light. High-quality, especially developed lenses have been almost invisibly integrated into the black fleece of the Lighting Pad and of its more informal version, the Lighting Pad Lounge. The bundled light is glare-free and unfolds a brilliant lighting effect on the illuminated surface. A lot of care has gone into every detail: into the design as well as the smart technical solutions, which Nimbus developed as part of the Häfele Group at the joint Light Competence Centre at the location in Stuttgart. Further information on the Lighting Pad Lounge is available on the new microsite. The Lighting Pad contributes to a pleasant room atmosphere in its dual role as a source of both lighting and acoustic effectiveness.
