“Soul food” is tasty and authentic. It warms the soul, as they say. That is what light does in the world of architecture. With this thought in mind, we would like to invite you to immerse yourself in Nimbus’s world of light as revealed within the framework of “Häfele Discoveries”. “Discoveries” is a hybrid trade fair format developed by Häfele. From 4 to 7 May 2021 it will be an integral part of the Cologne trade fair centre’s interzum @home, the leading international event of the supply industry for the furniture and fit-out sectors.
Nimbus has been a member of the Häfele Group for over two years now. Located in Nagold, the internationally operating specialist for furniture fittings and lighting is indispensable for furniture production and the carpentry trade, while the Stuttgart-based Nimbus Group is regarded at the “architect’s darling”. Two target groups, two different worlds. And yet they have come together and now boast a broad joint portfolio of lighting systems for rooms and furniture as well as integrated lighting and acoustics solutions.
This diverse and inspiring interaction can be discovered and experienced in “Häfele Discoveries’” wide-ranging scenarios focusing on the office, home, hospitality and micro-living – all of them trend topics and issues for the future with constantly changing requirements in terms of flexible, connected and simple-to-handle solutions. Nimbus represents premium design, love of detail, exclusive materiality and high lighting quality that lends rooms an emotional, individual and atmospheric character.
The new Lighting Pad Lounge is the very embodiment of “Nimbus Soul Food” and provides the lighting atmosphere for many of the rooms in “Häfele Discoveries”. The precious woods in the gently curved surface of the suspended luminaire cry out to be experienced and are unique on the lighting market. The pleasant light generated by the Lighting Pad Lounge immerses every room in a cosy, warm atmosphere.

One of the most recent reference projects jointly realised with Häfele is the Jopa Joma micro-living apartment building in Kenzingen in the south of the Baden region. “This example shows how Nimbus can contribute to creating holistic room and lighting design together with Häfele and its partners,” says Dietrich F. Brennenstuhl, founder and managing director of Nimbus. Click the link to access text and photos: https://pressrelease.bering-kopal.de/en/pressrelease/nimbus-group_temporary-homes
